A Buffalo Winter Wonderland & Photos Reminiscent of Milton Rogovin

Share this:

Buffalo has seen a, seemingly, more than usual amount of snow this winter. I often look out my window to see snowflakes falling in various tempos and blankets of snow everywhere.

Times like these inspire me to take up my camera. And, so, on a Thursday morning in January, I suited up in my snow pants, gloves, etc. and did exactly that.

The pictures below are some of my favorites from my walk near Hoyt Lake. In the first one, you can—kinda, sorta—see the back of the AKG art museum—one of my favorite places to go in the City of Buffalo and a great place to spend some time if you happen to find yourself in this neck of the woods.

While sitting down to edit my photos, I found some photos my youngest daughter had taken on my camera in the weeks leading up to Thanksgiving. I think they’re wonderful, and, so, I decided to share those as well.

My plan is to share better quality versions of these photos on Instagram, but don’t hold me to that!

Enjoy!
